Your team welcomes you with open arms As our new Senior Development Engineer in the Core Banking Services team in Copenhagen or Warsaw, you’ll join an open, knowledge-driven culture where people share expertise, challenge ideas constructively, and grow together. You will be trusted to take ownership, influence technical decisions, and make an impact every day. In this role, you will help design and develop our new core platform using the latest versions of .NET and C#. You will work in an event-driven environment, using Azure Event Hubs and Azure Service Bus to connect services running on Azure Kubernetes Service, while helping us build solutions that are reliable, scalable, and engineered for high throughput and uptime. We offer a hybrid work model for our employees to allow for flexibility and productivity. However, we do expect you to spend most of your time in the office to build community and efficiency in the team. Exciting work is waiting for you

• Design, develop, and enhance services, APIs, and backend solutions.
• Apply strong engineering practices, including clean and testable code, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
• Take proactive ownership of complex technical and business problems from analysis through delivery.
• Contribute to our event-driven, service-oriented architecture and long-term platform direction.
• Improve performance, reliability, scalability, observability, and operational resilience.
• Keep learning, share knowledge, and strengthen the team’s ability to deliver.

Things we’ll look for on your resume You bring extensive experience from a senior backend development role and deep, hands-on knowledge of .NET and C#. You have designed or operated backend solutions that process high volumes of data, with a strong focus on throughput, latency, availability, maintainability, and quality. You have practical experience with Microsoft Azure or another major cloud platform, relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, message queues such as Azure Service Bus, and streaming technologies such as Azure Event Hubs or Kafka. You are comfortable with Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes. Experience with data contracts, enterprise messaging patterns, and NoSQL databases is an advantage. You are proactive, responsible, and quality-oriented. You approach problems analytically and work in a structured way, while having the courage and curiosity to try new ideas. You learn quickly, seek feedback, and turn new knowledge into better solutions. You are also dependable, collaborative, and generous about sharing what you know.
