Senior Data Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Data Engineer to join the Client Reporting team and work on business-critical data flows, reporting solutions, and cloud transformation initiatives. The team is modernizing legacy platforms into a cloud-based data ecosystem on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will contribute to technical design, development, modernization, and implementation of scalable data solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Drive and contribute to the technical roadmap for data and integration solutions.
• Design, develop, implement, and maintain data applications.
• Build and modernize data pipelines, APIs, and data products.
• Integrate legacy systems with modern GCP cloud-native architecture.
• Work closely with architects, product owners, developers, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure solutions follow technical standards, architecture patterns, and target architecture.
• Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

Required Skills

• Several years of experience in software development and data engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with GCP or similar cloud platforms.
• Strong Python, SQL, and BigQuery skills.

• Pub/Sub
• Docker
• Strong understanding of modern data architectures, including:
• Data Warehousing
• Event-driven architecture
• Experience with ETL processes and data modelling.
• Knowledge of Dimensional Modelling and/or Data Vault.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, GitLab, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with Terraform is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
