Senior Computer Vision & Machine Learning Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Computer Vision & Machine Learning Engineer to join our growing team in southern Sweden. You will work on cutting-edge projects involving machine vision, AI-powered quality assurance, industrial automation, and intelligent inspection systems for leading manufacturing and technology companies. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying computer vision solutions that transform sensor and camera data into actionable insights. You will work closely with customers, domain experts, software engineers, and hardware specialists to solve real-world challenges using state-of-the-art machine learning and computer vision technologies. Your Responsibilities:

• Design and develop computer vision and machine learning solutions for industrial applications.
• Build data collection, annotation, training, and validation pipelines.
• Develop and optimize image processing, object detection, segmentation, classification, and anomaly detection algorithms.
• Evaluate and integrate camera systems, 3D sensors, LiDAR, depth cameras, and other vision hardware.
• Train, test, and optimize deep learning models using modern AI frameworks.
• Deploy solutions on edge computing platforms and production environments.
• Collaborate with customers to understand operational challenges and translate them into technical solutions.
• Participate in feasibility studies, proof-of-concepts, and product development initiatives.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, technical leadership, and best practices within AI and software engineering.

Basic qualifications

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience developing computer vision or machine learning solutions.
• Strong experience with Python and C++.
• Hands-on experience with OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar frameworks.
• Experience developing and deploying deep-learning based computer vision applications.
• Understanding of machine learning workflows, data engineering, and model lifecycle management.
• Experience with GPU-based training and optimization.
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices including Git, testing, CI/CD, and code reviews.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English communication skills.

• Industrial inspection and quality assurance systems.
• Automated visual inspection and defect detection.
• Edge AI deployments on NVIDIA Jetson platforms.
• 3D vision systems, point cloud processing, and depth sensing technologies.
• MLOps, model monitoring, and production deployment.
• Robotics, automation, or autonomous systems.
• Cloud-based AI infrastructure and data pipelines.
• Experience from manufacturing, automotive, heavy equipment, or industrial production environments.
• Fluent in Swedish
