Senior Business Analyst

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support complex business and IT initiatives for a leading client in Gothenburg, Sweden. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior professional who can independently drive business analysis, manage stakeholders, facilitate workshops, and translate business needs into clear and actionable requirements. Position Details Role: Senior Business Analyst – Level 4 Location: Gothenburg, Sweden Work Model: Hybrid Start Date: 2 November 2026 End Date: 31 August 2027 Duration: Approx. 10 months Languages: Swedish & English Travel: May be required Key Responsibilities

• Drive business analysis activities across complex business and IT initiatives.
• Identify, analyze, structure, and document business needs.
• Translate business requirements into functional, non-functional, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead workshops and facilitate stakeholder discussions and decision-making.
• Manage and align stakeholders across business and IT functions.
• Challenge assumptions and support effective scope and priority decisions.
• Ensure proposed solutions deliver business value and align with business objectives.
• Contribute to process improvements and improved ways of working.
• Work effectively within Agile environments.

Required Experience

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Proven experience independently leading analysis activities in complex environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and requirements management experience.
• Experience in process mapping and business development.
• Strong workshop facilitation and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions in complex and changing environments.
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English, verbally and in writing.
• Relevant academic qualification or equivalent professional experience.
