Senior Brand Manager

The role As Senior Brand Manager for IDA WARG Beauty, you are one of the driving forces behind the brand’s innovation pipeline. From the first idea to the day a product lands on the shelf, you make sure every launch is commercially strong, true to the brand and set up to make an impact. This is a senior contributor role for a hands-on brand builder who combines an innovative & commercial mindset with a genuine passion for beauty. You will champion IDA WARG Beauty across all categories, working closely with the Marketing Director for IDA WARG Beauty and our Category Leads to turn consumer insight and brand vision into a focused, high-performing portfolio. This is a parental leave cover for 12–16 months. You will report to the Director, Portfolio & Innovation and be based in either Stockholm or Espoo. Main tasks

• Lead brand NPD. Drive new product development and the end-to-end innovation process for IDA WARG Beauty across all categories, from concept through to commercial launch, with a commercial and creative mindset.
• Shape the portfolio. Develop and manage the brand’s portfolio strategy, keeping the assortment focused, commercially productive and unmistakably IDA WARG Beauty.
• Keep categories aligned. Partner proactively with Category Leads so that every innovation idea fits the relevant category strategy before it moves forward.
• Turn insight into action. Bring consumer and trend intelligence into every innovation decision.
• Own the numbers. Build and own the business cases for all IDA WARG Beauty launches, track performance closely and drive margin improvement across every category.
• Set launches up to win. Make sure the brand team is fully briefed on the vision, strategy and details of every launch, so they can execute with confidence and maximum impact.
• Lift the team. Be a positive culture bearer contributing to a high-performing team culture.

With a strong commercial mindset, you are as comfortable developing, owning and tracking a business case as you are debating a product concept. You are an excellent communicator and presenter who can influence at all levels, and you know how to bring people with you across functions and markets. You are proactive, collaborative and energized by seeing ideas become successful launches. What we believe you have

• Proven experience in brand or category management and NPD leadership, ideally within beauty or FMCG.
• A degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
• A strong understanding of the creator/influencer brand space and its consumer audience.
• Strong cross-functional project management skills and a highly collaborative, proactive way of working.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
