What you'll do

About the role Dintero develops and operates payment infrastructure handling more than 150 million API calls every month. We are looking for a senior backend engineer who wants end-to-end ownership of critical systems where reliability and correctness matter. What you will do

  • Design and own backend services end-to-end
  • Build APIs used by merchants and partners
  • Make architectural decisions with long-term impact
  • Improve scalability, observability and operational quality
  • Ship frequently and own what you run in production

Who we are looking for

  • At least five years of backend development experience
  • Experience with distributed systems and architectural trade-offs
  • Experience owning complex production systems
  • Cloud experience; AWS is a plus
  • Scandinavian language is a plus, but not required
