Position Details - Position Title: Senior Backend Developer (C#/.NET) - Employment Type: Full Time - Experience Required: 5-10 Years - Location: Sweden - Duration: 12 Months - Nationality Preference: Swedish (SWE) - Languages Required: Swedish (Mandatory) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in C#/.NET technologies, SQL Server, enterprise integrations, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience within the Asset Management domain and a proven track record of designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade backend applications in Microsoft-based environments. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, participation in Agile delivery teams, and ownership of application performance, reliability, and deployment processes. Key Responsibilities - Develop, enhance, and maintain backend applications using C# and .NET Framework/.NET. - Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and data models. - Build, maintain, and support complex integrations and data flow processes. - Configure and manage application and integration environments. - Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes. - Apply DevOps best practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles. - Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues. - Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements. - Participate in Agile development activities using Scrum or Kanban methodologies. - Support application deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and incident management activities. - Contribute to technical design reviews, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. Must-Have Requirements - 5+ years of backend development experience using C# and .NET Framework/.NET. - Experience working within the Asset Management domain (Mandatory). - Strong expertise in SQL Server, database development, and data modeling. - Experience developing and maintaining complex integrations and data flows. - Strong experience working in on-premises Microsoft environments. - Hands-on experience establishing and configuring application and integration environments. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated build and release processes. - Practical knowledge of DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). - Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, or equivalent source control and deployment tools. - Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and performance optimization skills. - Experience in requirements analysis and stakeholder collaboration. - Experience working within Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban. - Experience with any two of the following technologies: React, Angular, Vue.js, or Blazor. - Strong verbal and written communication skills in Swedish. Good-to-Have Skills - Understanding of frontend and backend system interactions. - Exposure to full-stack development environments. - Knowledge of API integrations and modern frontend architectures. - Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments. - Familiarity with cloud technologies and modern application architectures.
