Senior Automation Engineer -SCADA

Job Title: Senior Automation Engineer SCADA About the Role: We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior Automation Engineer SCADA to ensure the efficient, reliable, and secure operation of our SCADA networks and Substation Automation Systems (SAS). The ideal candidate will be a technical expert capable of leading projects from bay to entire substation SAS/SCADA design and commissioning. Key Responsibilities & Core Requirements: HVAC Substation Automation: Core Knowledge and Hands-on experience in HVAC Substation Automation. System & Network Mastery: Extensive SCADA, RTU, PLC, Networking, and Protocol expertise. Familiarity with multi-vendor systems (such as ABB RTU, Schneider PACiS, or MicroSCADA) and PLC programming is highly valued. Design & Commissioning: Hands-on experience in design and commissioning of HVAC Substations (specifically 66/132kV). This must include IED Communication configuration, signal testing, SCADA Configuration, Data concentrator configuration, along with Protocol conversion knowledge and hands-on experience. Process & Risk Management: Able to follow the process, identify gaps and risks, and propose solution recommendations to ensure the operational integrity of our SAS/SCADA systems remains optimal. Protocol Proficiency: Competence in configuring and troubleshooting standard industry protocols, including IEC61850, IEC60870-5-101, IEC60870-5-104, DNP3, and Modbus. Testing & Execution: Preparation of signal lists, commissioning reports, and active participation in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT). Cybersecurity & Networking: Enforcement of cybersecurity adherence, user profile management on SAS systems, and configuration of Ethernet switches, VLANs, and network redundancy. Why Join Us?
