Senior Application Engineer (CFD) Based: Horsens or Copenhagen, Denmark Role to commence: ASAP / Jan 27 Working model: Hybrid EDRMedeso is an elite channel partner for Ansys software in the Nordics, UK and Poland. Part of a larger group, the company is responsible for sales, consultancy and account management of Ansys software in Europe. In this role, you will be supporting customers in their journey toward digital labs and virtual prototyping. The Opportunity We are looking for a CFD Engineer to work in the Technical Business Development team and with the Revenue department, by assisting in the sales process. This exciting customer facing role will require the post holder to use and further develop extensive expertise in ANSYS products, capabilities and features. The role will include:

• Providing product presentations and demonstrations
• Attending trade shows and conferences
• Attending customer and site visits within Denmark
• Performing customer evaluations and proof of concepts
• Supporting customers in evaluation of additional products and capabilities
• Supporting marketing with relevant technical content
• Contribute to Country specific growth
• Account development planning, working with the Sales Account Managers

What we’re looking for The post-holder will:

• Be familiar and competent with the application of CFD methods – at least 10 years of experience with ANSYS tools preferred and/or other similar CFD applications considered.
• Have a PhD or MSc in Fluid Dynamics or in a similar related field.
• Have at least 5-7 years of experience in Engineering industries.
• Be business focused – aware of how the team/individuals contribute to company commercial goals.
• Be capable of working independently when required and within a multidisciplinary team.
• Be an excellent communicator.
• Be able to tackle new technical challenges often accompanied by steep learning curves.
• Be open to exploring new/unfamiliar applications using a wide portfolio of simulation tools.
• Be capable of working to both short-term and long-term deadlines with a rapid turnaround.
• Be skilled or interested in multiple applications including but not limited to single & multiphase flow, chemical processes, reactions, optimisation methods, scripting, HPC/Cloud Computing etc across multiple industry areas – Energy, Automotive/Aerospace Supply Chain, Healthcare, Industrial Equipment, High Tech, Systems etc.
• Be a fluent speaker in Danish and English .
