Senior Application Carve-out Execution Specialist

For our client were looking for a hands-on Application Carve-out Execution Specialist. Role and responsibilities: We are looking for a hands-on Application Carve-out Execution Specialist to increase the teams practical execution capacity across multiple applications and workstreams. This is not primarily a project management role. The person should independently take ownership of defined work packages, complete the necessary groundwork and execution and involve Service Managers when decisions or application-specific expertise are required. Scope: Dedicated demerger resources supporting application portfolios currently managed by IT Service Managers. Resource: Support for some subset of the applications TWIN360, TWIN8, GlobalTrade, 360T, Bloomberg, Oanda FX Rates, Nomentia Cash Management, SWIFT Alliance Lite2 Typical responsibilities include: · Execute clearly defined application carve-out work packages independently. · Perform application and dependency analysis and collect required technical information. · Work with vendors and other IT teams to progress technical separation activities. · Support and coordinate application, integration, access and environment-related changes. · Prepare and execute testing, cutover and validation activities. · Follow up open technical actions and proactively drive them to completion. · Perform technical troubleshooting and resolve issues together with appropriate specialists and vendors. · Prepare and maintain application, carve-out, test, cutover and handover documentation. · Collect evidence and verify completion of agreed separation activities. · Support solution handover and operational readiness. Expected background and capabilities: · Experience in hands-on work with enterprise/business-critical applications. · Experience with application migrations, transformations, carve-outs, demergers or M&A environments is preferred. · Practical understanding of application dependencies such as integrations, data, environments, access and infrastructure. · Experience with testing, deployment/cutover and technical documentation. · Ability to coordinate directly with application vendors and technical teams. · Strong problem-solving skills. · Self-driven and structured way of working with a proactive hands-on attitude. · Ability to take an agreed task or work package and independently drive it to completion. · Fluent written and spoken English.
