Job Description We are currently seeking a skilled and results-oriented Senior Verification & Validation (V&V) Engineer for a long-term consulting assignment with one of our clients. We welcome applications from international candidates and can sponsor visas for qualified professionals residing outside the EU. The candidate we look for should have a deep specialization in Android Auto and test automation. In this role, you will lead the validation strategy for next-generation in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) systems, ensuring seamless smartphone projection, robust connectivity, and exceptional user experiences. You will leverage your strong Python background and hardware automation expertise to build scalable test frameworks integrated into modern CI/CD pipelines. Key Responsibilities - Lead V&V Strategy: Drive comprehensive verification and validation cycles for Android Auto features, projection protocols, audio/video streaming, and phone-to-head-unit connectivity. - Automation Development: Design, develop, and scale robust test automation frameworks and scripts using Python. - Hardware-in-the-Loop Integration: Implement and maintain automated test setups using hardware test benches and embedded platforms (including Pi test automation rigs). - CI/CD Pipeline Integration: Integrate automated test suites into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing, rapid feedback, and automated reporting. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with software developers, system architects, and product managers to debug complex infotainment issues and verify software releases. Competence/Experience – Mandatory - 10+ years of professional experience in software testing, embedded systems, or Verification & Validation (V&V), with a strong focus on the automotive infotainment domain. - Deep hands-on testing experience with Android Auto architecture, projection, and compliance validation. - Advanced proficiency in Python for test script development and framework design. - Proven experience building automated testing solutions for hardware-based test benches (Pi test automation experience or equivalent microcontroller/SBC test rigs). - Strong practical experience configuring and managing Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for automated test execution and build verification. - English (verbal and writing) Competence/Experience – Optional - Swedish (verbal and writing) Personality - Work independently - Work in teams - Attention to details - Result oriented Application and questions You submit your application via the "I'am interested" button below.
