Senior AI Transformation Lead

We are looking for a Senior AI Transformation Lead to strengthen a public-sector organization’s ability to deliver its AI transformation. You will coordinate AI initiatives across the organization, turn strategy and roadmap into concrete activities, and drive change and competence development while supporting senior management. You will provide strategic advice on AI platforms, in-house development, procured services, and long-term capability building, always with a focus on business value. The role combines strategic and hands-on work. It requires qualified dialogue on technology choices and the ability to build engagement, educate, and drive implementation across business, IT, and support functions. Requirements - Academic degree in a relevant field - 10+ years of experience leading large-scale business change, digital transformation, or similar development initiatives in complex organizations - 3+ years of documented experience with AI, generative AI, or AI-driven business development - Experience in strategic advisory on digitalization, technology choices, or the adoption of new technology - Experience supporting organizations in strategic decisions on AI platforms, in-house development, vendor solutions, or technical target architecture - Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives between business, IT, and other support functions - Ability to combine strategic thinking with operational delivery, with a communicative and engaging approach - Fluent Swedish, spoken and written Nice to Have - Experience developing AI strategies - Experience with AI governance, the EU AI Act, or other AI compliance and regulatory matters - Experience from government agencies or other public-sector organizations - Experience leading change journeys in complex organizations - Documented experience working with management teams - Proven ability to translate technical possibilities into business value Benefits - Take a leading role in shaping and delivering an organization-wide AI transformation - Work at the intersection of strategy, technology, and change, with direct influence on senior management - Join inventYOU, an IT staffing and consulting company with a strong presence across Stockholm and Athens, offering long-term engagements and close support throughout your assignment
