Senior AI Engineer - AI grounding infrastructure for enterprise! 💡 Want to join a company tackling one of the biggest issues for Enterprise AI today? Look no further 💡 My client is a well-established SaaS provider HQ'd in Stockholm, with a leading product trusted by enterprise companies globally to optimise the way in which they handle and share their information. They are now looking for a Senior AI engineer to join their newly established AI R&D lab, a small, autonomous task force building AI grounding infrastructure for enterprise & spearheading the company's product strategy! ✅The role sits at the centre of that effort and would involve:

• Designing and evolving the knowledge graph architecture
• Owning retrieval systems end-to-end (RAG, hybrid retrieval, embeddings, re-ranking and evaluation)
• Determining when graph-based retrieval outperforms vector approaches and vice versa
• improving retrieval quality, hallucination reduction, latency and cost efficiency
• Working directly with early lighthouse customers to shape the product
• Making key architectural decisions for the company's long-term AI strategy

🔥What you bring"

• 5+ Years as a software engineer, working full-stack and in close-proximity to product
• Demonstrably experience architecting, designing & building RAG systems into production
• Hands-on, production experience with vector databases, Semantic technologies, retrieval evaluation & embeddings
• Strong understanding and experience with knowledge graph, graph databases and similar
• Experience and comfortable with: Typescript, Python, (Rust although not necessary to have experience in this, but you'll be able to work with it!), AWS, Iaac
• SaaS experience

This isn't just a role where you will using AI for the sole purpose of speeding up your code, but rather an opportunity to tackle some super challenging & exciting problems and think deeply on AI for enterprise. You'd sit as part of a small, super talented team (approx. 6 people), where the CEO handles the product management. Your work would play a huge impact on the future direction of the company, and essentially you'd be able to have the autonomy and impact of a startup, with the backing and sponsorship of an established SaaS company!
