Senior Account Manager Public Sector

AWS Norway is hiring a Senior Account Manager to lead transformative deals and redefine how Public Sector Norway innovates with cloud and Agentic AI. Bring your passion for building businesses, your operational excellence, and your deep industry insight and help our customers accelerate their digital transformations at scale. As Senior Account Manager, you will manage and grow strategic Public Sector accounts in Norway. You will own the go-to-market strategy and execution for strategic accounts, drive revenue growth, and set the vision for how AWS partners with Norwegian public sector organizations to reshape the industry. You will report to the Norwegian Leadership and collaborate closely with regional stakeholders to deliver on bold growth ambitions. This role is based in Oslo. Key job responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted senior relationships with strategic public sector accounts. Foster partnerships anchored on customer obsession, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Business Development, Solutions Architecture, Partner Organization, Marketing, Customer Success) to solve customers' most complex business and technical challenges.
• Identify transformational opportunities, de-risk execution, and replicate success through scalable plays and mechanisms.
• Use data and metrics to manage pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and sales productivity.
• Represent AWS at industry events and evangelize our innovation across Public Sector
• Accelerate customer adoption & develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts
• Travel as necessary

• Sales experience in management of large, complex public sector accounts or equivalent
• Experience engaging and influencing senior executives, demonstrating a strong familiarity with decision-making processes in public sector customers
• Solving problems with technology in the Public Sector industries experience
• Experience with pipeline management skills to include utilization of Salesforce or other CRM tools
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
• Norwegian-language communication skills, both written and verbal
• Deep understanding of cloud, infrastructure, data, analytics, and AI/ML with ability to translate technology into strategic business outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience influencing innovation through a partner ecosystem with either solutions or programs that have demonstrated success at public sector customers
• Experience delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives/projects
• Experience working with global cross-functional teams
• Established network in Public Sector within Norway
