Scientist – Analytics, Technical Operations

Work Schedule Standard (Mon-Fri) Environmental Conditions Laboratory Setting, Office, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.) We are looking for a motivated and experienced Scientist to join our Analytics team within Technical Operations! In this role, you will take analytical ownership in cross-functional product development and improvement projects, working from analytical method development and validation through technology transfer and implementation in Quality Control (QC). You will collaborate closely with colleagues across R&D, Technical Operations, Quality, QC, and other functions. This is an opportunity to combine hands-on scientific work with analytical problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration in a regulated biotechnology environment. Discover Impactful Work As part of the Analytics team, you will contribute to the development, validation, transfer, and continuous improvement of analytical methods supporting products for life science, diagnostics, and clinical markets. You will have the opportunity to work with advanced biotechnology, solve complex analytical challenges, and contribute directly to product quality and successful product development. A Day in the Life In this role, you will:

• Serve as the analytical lead in cross-functional new product development and improvement projects.
• Develop and optimize analytical methods for product release, in-process controls, and incoming raw-material testing.
• Design, execute, analyze, and document feasibility, stability, comparability, and validation studies.
• Lead or support analytical method transfer between sites, departments, and QC.
• Support implementation of new analytical methods in QC.
• Drive continuous improvement of analytical methods, procedures, and QC processes.
• Provide scientific support to QC, including troubleshooting and investigation of out-of-trend (OOT) and out-of-specification (OOS) results.
• Analyze and interpret complex experimental data using appropriate statistical approaches.
• Communicate scientific results, recommendations, and technical concepts effectively to both specialist and cross-functional audiences.
• Collaborate across functions to plan and coordinate project activities.
• Support investigations related to customer complaints, problem notifications, and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Keys to Success We are looking for someone who combines strong analytical and scientific capabilities with a structured, collaborative approach. Education

• MSc or higher in analytical chemistry, molecular biology, biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline.

The successful candidate is expected to have:

• Several years of relevant professional experience in analytical method development, optimization, and validation within biotechnology, life sciences, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, or a related field.
• Several years of hands-on experience independently designing, planning, executing, and documenting complex scientific experiments.
• Demonstrated experience with analysis and interpretation of complex experimental and analytical data, including the use of appropriate statistical tools and methods.
• Knowledge of working in a regulated environment and relevant quality standards, such as ISO 13485 is an advantage.
• Experience with technology or analytical method transfer is an advantage.
• Experience supporting QC investigations, including OOS/OOT investigations, is an advantage.
