SAP AVC Consultant

Role Overview As an SAP AVC Consultant, you will design, build, and maintain complex product configuration models within SAP S/4HANA. You will bridge the gap between engineering and sales by transforming intricate product rules into seamless digital configurators that drive accurate pricing, manufacturing, and ordering. Key Responsibilities • Model Configuration: Build and manage single- and multi-level configuration models, characteristics, classes, and configuration profiles. • Dependency Writing: Develop complex object dependencies using procedures, preconditions, selection conditions, and constraint nets. • Master Data Integration: Connect configuration models with Sales (SD), Production Planning (PP / Super BOMs), and SAP CPQ. • Pricing & Migration: Set up variant pricing conditions and help migrate legacy LO-VC models to the new S/4HANA AVC engine. • Testing: Run simulations, troubleshoot syntax errors, and optimize the Fiori configuration UI. Required Skills & Qualifications • Experience: Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA AVC or classic LO-VC. • Technical Mastery: Deep knowledge of AVC constraint syntax, KMAT materials, and material variants. • Integration Skills: Solid understanding of how variant configuration impacts supply chain and pricing modules. • Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking and the ability to translate complex engineering logic into clean SAP rules.
