Salesforce is a strategic platform within Polestar's digital landscape, supporting customer engagement, sales, fleet operations, customer service, marketing, portals, AI-enabled experiences, and critical integrations with enterprise platforms such as ERP, integration platforms, data platforms, and other digital products. This role will help define the future direction of the platform, ensuring solutions remain scalable, secure, compliant, and aligned with Polestar's enterprise architecture. This position is located at Gothenburg, Sweden. Let us describe the challenge we offer As a Salesforce Solution Architect, you will provide architectural leadership across Polestar's Salesforce landscape, spanning Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Agentforce, customer portals, fleet solutions, and related integrations. You will work closely with product managers, business stakeholders, engineers, enterprise architects, and external partners to ensure that solutions are aligned with both business objectives and long-term technology strategy. The role requires balancing customer experience, business process efficiency, integration complexity, security requirements, and platform sustainability. You will help teams make the right architectural decisions while reducing technical debt, increasing reuse, and enabling faster delivery across multiple products and markets. You will be a key contributor in defining platform guardrails, integration patterns, data ownership principles, and future-state architecture for one of Polestar's most business-critical platforms. What You'll Do You will lead solution architecture across multiple initiatives and help shape the evolution of Polestar's Salesforce ecosystem. • Designing scalable Salesforce solutions across customer, sales, service, fleet, and commercial domains
• Leading solution architecture for strategic Salesforce initiatives and programmes
• Defining architecture standards, patterns, and guardrails for Salesforce development
• Ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles and technology standards
• Driving integration architecture across Salesforce, AWS, ERP systems, customer identity, data platforms, and digital products
• Defining data ownership, master data, and information flow principles
• Supporting product teams in architecture decisions, technical design, and solution governance
• Ensuring solutions meet security, privacy, compliance, and audit requirements
• Managing cross-team dependencies and reducing solution complexity
• Driving platform scalability, maintainability, and operational excellence
• Supporting roadmap planning and target architecture definition
• Contributing to architecture reviews and governance forums
• Mentoring engineers and supporting the broader architecture community

In your daily work, you will collaborate with teams across CRM, Customer Experience, Sales, Fleet, Marketing, Customer Care, Data & AI, Enterprise Architecture, and Digital Commercial leadership. You will also work closely with enterprise architects, chief architects, solution architects, product teams, and strategic partners. Who You Are You are comfortable navigating complex business domains and translating business needs into practical and sustainable Salesforce solutions. You can balance strategic thinking with hands-on architecture work and enjoy collaborating across business and technology teams. You have strong communication skills and can explain architectural concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. You understand that great architecture is not just about technology. It is about enabling business outcomes while maintaining simplicity, governance, and long-term sustainability. To be a great fit for this position, we believe you have:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Solution Architect, Salesforce Architect, or Lead Salesforce Consultant
• Deep knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities and architecture patterns
• Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Salesforce integrations
• Experience designing APIs, event-driven integrations, and distributed solutions
• Strong understanding of customer data management and enterprise integration patterns
• Experience working with cloud-native architectures and modern development practices
• Knowledge of security, privacy, identity, and compliance requirements
• Experience working in agile product organisations
• Ability to lead architecture across multiple teams and business domains

The Following Would Be Considered An Advantage

• Salesforce certifications such as Application Architect, System Architect, or Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
• Experience with Marketing Cloud or Agentforce
• Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP, customer identity, and enterprise data platforms
• Experience within automotive, retail, mobility, or direct-to-consumer digital businesses
