What you'll do

Leica Geosystems – Part of Hexagon At Leica Geosystems, we are looking for a Sales Representative who thrives on building strong relationships, understanding customers' day-to-day challenges, and helping them work smarter through technology. You will be responsible for selling our market-leading machine control solutions in Vestland, Norway. This role is not about quick sales or scripted phone calls. It is about being visible in the market, building trust over time, and becoming a valued partner to contractors, machine operators, civil engineering companies, and other professionals within the construction industry. If you are motivated by autonomy, customer interaction, and technical solutions, this could be your next career opportunity. Your Role You will be responsible for a well-established territory covering Funen and Southern Jutland. Your focus will be on both developing existing customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities. You will become part of a dedicated sales team and work closely with technicians, support functions, and international colleagues. Most of your time will be spent visiting customers. Therefore, it is important that you enjoy working independently and are motivated by being close to the market. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Building and developing long-term customer relationships
  • Visiting existing customers and identifying new opportunities
  • Advising customers on technical solutions and business benefits
  • Preparing quotations and managing sales processes
  • Participating in trade shows, events, and customer activities
  • Contributing market insights and identifying emerging trends and customer needs
  • Maintaining high-quality CRM data and activities through Salesforce
  • Collaborating closely with our strong after-sales organization across support and service

Who Are You? Your educational background is less important. You may come from the construction industry as a machine operator, surveyor, or technician. You may already be working in technical sales. What matters most is that you have a solid technical understanding, can build trust, and are motivated by developing strong customer relationships. We imagine that you:

  • Have experience selling or advising on technical products or solutions
  • Are curious about technology and eager to learn about new products
  • Have a natural ability to build trust and strong relationships
  • Work in a structured manner and follow up consistently on your activities
  • Thrive in a role with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility
  • Can interact professionally with customers within the construction and civil engineering sectors
  • View CRM as an important business tool rather than administration
  • You are fluent in Danish, both spoken and written, and can communicate effectively in English for training, meetings, and collaboration with international colleagues.

How to Succeed at Leica The market is highly competitive, and our customers have many options. The most successful salespeople at Leica are not necessarily the most aggressive. They succeed because they are visible, credible, and capable of building lasting relationships. Our customers choose us because of our quality, precision, experience, and strong after-sales support organization, staffed by highly skilled specialists in support, installation, and service. This means you will have a strong team behind you and the opportunity to create real value for your customers. What We Offer

  • An independent role with a high degree of freedom and flexibility
  • A strong global brand with an excellent reputation in the market
  • Comprehensive onboarding and product training
  • Access to international specialist communities and knowledge sharing
  • A competent and supportive team culture where colleagues work together to succeed
  • Continuous professional and personal development opportunities
  • An attractive compensation package including a bonus scheme
  • Company car, mobile phone, and other relevant work equipment

Practical Information The position covers Vestland Norway, and therefore it is expected that you are based centrally within the region. The role is primarily field-based and may occasionally involve participation in trade shows, events, and training activities, including limited overnight travel within Denmark and abroad.
