Sales & Product Specialist – Pathology

Oslo area preferred | Field-based | Home-based We are exclusively supporting an established European MedTech company looking for a Sales & Product Specialist to develop its business in Norway. The company provides specialist equipment and technologies to hospitals and diagnostic laboratories, with a particular focus on pathology and histology. The Norwegian market offers considerable opportunity for further development, and this position will play an important role in expanding the company's customer base and strengthening its presence. The role is primarily focused on sales and business development, combining commercial responsibility with specialist laboratory knowledge. The Role You'll take responsibility for developing the Norwegian market, working independently while receiving support from an experienced Nordic team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing new business and building relationships with hospitals and pathology laboratories.
• Managing existing customer relationships and identifying opportunities for growth.
• Identifying and managing hospital tenders and public procurement opportunities.
• Introducing laboratory equipment and solutions to customers.
• Understanding laboratory workflows and identifying suitable technologies.
• Managing sales activities, CRM pipeline and forecasting.
• Working closely with Nordic colleagues across sales, product management and technical support.

Who We're Looking For We're open to different professional backgrounds, including:

• Sales or Product Specialists working with pathology, histology or laboratory equipment.
• Medtech, IVD or diagnostics sales professionals with experience in hospital procurement, tenders or business development.
• Biomedical Scientists or laboratory professionals with strong pathology or histology experience who have the right commercial mindset and approach and are interested in moving into a commercial role.

You'll need good communication skills, confidence working with customers and the motivation to develop new business. Norwegian and English language skills, a driving licence and willingness to travel regularly are required. Previous sales experience is valuable, but we're equally interested in speaking with laboratory professionals who have the right personality and motivation to move into industry. What You Can Expect

Location & Travel The position is home-based, ideally in Oslo or the surrounding area. Customer visits are an important part of the role, typically around four days per week. Most activity will be in and around Oslo, with approximately 30–35 overnight stays annually for visits elsewhere in Norway and occasionally other Nordic countries. The role is offered on an initial 12-month contract, with the possibility of extension. Interested?
