Sales Director

Sales Director Sweden Do you know the Swedish engineering industry from the inside, and want a role where you set the direction yourself and also do the hands-on work? Componenta has clear growth plans for Sweden, and we are looking for the person who will lead that journey. About Componenta Componenta is an international technology company and Finland’s leading contract manufacturer for the engineering industry, with more than 200 years of history. We make cast, machined, forged, welded and plate components for global machinery and equipment manufacturers in machine building, energy, agricultural and forestry machinery, and defence. The Group has around 680 employees, had net sales of EUR 115.7 million in 2025, and is listed on Nasdaq Helsinki. The role Componenta has an established business in Sweden and clear ambitions to grow it. As Sales Director Sweden, you will be Componenta’s face to the Swedish market and drive that growth together with our production units in Finland. Your main responsibilities will be to:

• Manage and grow existing customer relationships, acting as key account manager for our largest accounts as part of the sales organisation.
• Win new business, especially with market-leading OEMs where we have no relationship yet, and work actively through the tier-1 machinist channel.
• Identify business opportunities, turn them into concrete plans and drive them forward.
• Contribute strategic input on how our offering could grow in Sweden, including market intelligence and potential business opportunities.
• Build the Swedish organisation over time to strengthen market position.

You will report to the Group Director, Sales & Marketing. At the start, you will work closely with our current sales representative in Sweden. Who we’re looking for Requirements

• Solid experience in B2B sales or business development in the Swedish engineering and manufacturing industry.
• An established network with, or proven ability to reach, larger Swedish OEMs.
• The ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution – you see the big picture and are ready to get to work on Monday morning.
• A mix of hunter and farmer: you open new doors and look after long-term, quality-driven customer relationships.
• Independence and drive. You are Componenta's face in Sweden, taking ownership of customer issues and working closely with our factory teams in Finland to solve them.
• In the first stage, willingness to work as a self-employed consultant fully contracted to Componenta.

Meriting

• Experience from castings, foundry, machining or contract manufacturing.
• Experience with pricing, cost calculation or larger commercial negotiations.
• The ability to build relationships in a complex environment while driving major new business opportunities.
