What you'll do

Kuukkeli & Lapponia Tours are looking for Safari Guides for the winter season 2026–2027 in Saariselkä.

We are looking for energetic, service-minded guides to join our growing team in Saariselkä. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, loves the nature of Lapland, and wants to help create unforgettable experiences for our international guests.

The position is seasonal and runs from around the turn of November–December until the end of March 2027.

Your duties may include, among other things:

  • customer service and guiding on reindeer or husky excursions
  • leading snowshoeing tours and other winter activities
  • guiding snowmobile safaris
  • guiding Northern Lights tours
  • guest transfers and pick-ups when needed
  • preparing and maintaining equipment and assisting with the practical arrangements of excursions
  • ensuring guest safety and providing an excellent customer experience

The working days are varied and, as is typical in the tourism industry, shifts may also take place in the evenings and on weekends.

What do we expect from you?

Above all, we are looking for people with a positive attitude who are able to work independently while also being good team players.

We hope you have:

  • a strong customer service attitude
  • fluent English skills
  • a valid driving licence
  • the ability to act responsibly and calmly in different situations
  • flexibility regarding working hours
  • an interest in Lapland, nature and tourism
  • willingness to work outdoors also in cold winter conditions

Previous experience in guiding, tourism or snowmobile driving is considered an advantage, but you do not need to know everything in advance. We provide training and familiarisation with our activities and products before you begin working independently.

Additional language skills are considered an advantage.

What do we offer?

We offer a diverse and varied position in one of Finlands best-known winter tourism destinations, as well as the opportunity to become part of our rapidly growing activity business.

You will get:

  • diverse and varied work duties
  • comprehensive training and onboarding
  • an international working environment
  • the opportunity to work in the beautiful landscapes of Lapland
  • a friendly and practical working community
  • the possibility to continue working with us in future seasons

Accommodation can be arranged if needed. Depending on availability, accommodation options may include private rooms, shared accommodation, as well as smaller and larger apartments.
