Runtime Engineer

Runtime Engineer 📍 Stockholm or Helsingborg, Sweden We’re looking for someone who likes solving problems that happen in the real world. Our POS platform is used by thousands of merchants every day. When something goes wrong, it matters. A slow system matters. A failed deployment matters. A service that goes down matters. We’re looking for someone who is technically curious, driven and interested in understanding how systems behave in production. You don’t need to know everything. You don’t need to be an expert in every cloud technology. But you should enjoy solving problems, asking questions and taking ownership. What you’ll do

• Build and improve the runtime environment for our services
• Work with Azure, Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure
• Improve monitoring, logging, alerting and observability
• Make deployments safer and easier
• Investigate incidents and find ways to prevent them from happening again
• Automate repetitive operational work
• Work closely with Software Engineers to improve reliability and performance
• Use AI tools to investigate, troubleshoot, automate and improve systems

What we’re looking for

• A strong technical mindset and the ability to solve problems with technology
• Good understanding of systems, infrastructure and how software behaves in production
• Strong problem-solving skills and engineering judgement
• Curiosity about why systems fail and how to make them better
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently
• Interest in making AI a fundamental part of how you work
• Drive, ownership and willingness to learn
• Fluent in both Swedish and English

Experience with Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, observability or distributed systems is valuable. Experience with AKS, RabbitMQ or .NET is a plus. You don’t need to know everything.
