Role snapshot
Rewards, Compensation and Benefits, Living Wage, Fair Pay, Socially Responsible Employer or Global Workforce are just some keywords stirring the waves and creating a lot of attention within the MSF movement. Closely connected with these concepts and frequently mentioned in current debates is BENCHMARKING. A specially dedicated unit – the Intersectional Benchmarking Unit – is responsible to conduct salary surveys and labour market analyses on request from operations all over the world. These benchmark studies are conducted by people like you: professionals with a background in HR or Finance, Research or similar, who have qualified to become REMUNERATION ANALYSTS. The Remuneration Analyst is specialization on principles of Compensation & Benefits and a standardised research methodology that is offered by the Benchmarking Unit. It is a great qualification that enhances HR career development and offers a range of possibilities within MSF and the broader market. What You Need To Bring
REMUNERATION ANALYSTS do not have to be from Norway or Europe. On the contrary! We would like to hear from you regardless of where you are from! The Benchmarking Unit supports MSF around the world. For that we need experts from around the world, too. BE PART OF OUR GLOBAL TEAM! About The Job As a Remuneration Analyst you are required to conduct a salary study and market analysis in order to obtain better insight into common market practices in MSF mission countries. The analyst will conduct the salary study in the requested location(s) of a defined reference market by contacting various actors from the NGO, private and public sector. The survey is a thorough analysis of the market trends and practices on all elements concerning the employer-employee contractual relationship and requires detailed consideration of these. Undertaking such an analysis requires understanding the local labour law, practices that are considered common law, and the political and cultural variables that may affect the labour market. The study also assesses the cost of living via a secondary Monthly Household Expenditures Survey by collecting average familial expenses required to maintain a decent standard of living.
