What you'll do

DESCRIPTION We are looking for an experienced Regional Data Center Program Expert to lead infrastructure operations, colocation management, vendor governance, and critical infrastructure programs across multiple facilities and geographies. This is a senior management position for a technically strong professional with extensive experience in data center infrastructure, critical facilities, colocation providers, vendor management, and complex engineering programs. The successful candidate will work closely with local operations teams, engineering teams, colocation providers, technology vendors, and global headquarters to ensure operational excellence, infrastructure reliability, compliance, and continuous improvement.

  1. Colocation Management & Operational Standards

- Lead the end-to-end implementation of colocation management standards across assigned facilities. - Manage requirements covering equipment, personnel, monitoring, emergency response, drills, change management, maintenance, and inspection-related risks. - Translate requirements into project plans, milestones, acceptance criteria, and measurable deliverables. - Track operational gaps and drive corrective actions through to closure.

  1. EMS & Infrastructure Monitoring

- Lead Environment Monitoring System (EMS) data integration projects. - Manage data-point mapping, connectivity, validation, and ongoing maintenance. - Ensure accurate monitoring of critical infrastructure, including: - IT room temperature and humidity - Busway and rack power consumption - Equipment status and alarms - Setpoints and operational logs - BMS and automation systems - Drive integration of new architectures and devices according to established standards.

  1. Vendor & Stakeholder Management

- Partner with local operations and engineering delivery teams. - Manage relationships with colocation providers and technology vendors. - Negotiate scope, SLAs, standards compliance, remediation plans, and delivery requirements. - Coordinate internal teams and external vendors using project plans, RACI matrices, risk/issue logs, and delivery cadences. - Drive complex initiatives to completion across multiple stakeholders and countries.

  1. Critical Infrastructure Engineering

- Lead the review and validation of: - Electrical systems - HVAC systems - ELV / low-voltage systems - BMS networks - Monitoring and automation controls - Review architecture drawings, equipment operating logic, protection settings, cooling controls, redundancy, and single points of failure. - Coordinate technical experts and lead acceptance testing to ensure production readiness.

  1. Reporting & Continuous Improvement

- Build dashboards and scorecards to measure operational compliance and EMS integration health. - Report project progress, risks, and operational performance to global headquarters. - Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and drive data-based operational improvements.

  1. Regional Capability Development

- Collaborate with global headquarters on infrastructure standards and platform roadmaps. - Adapt global policies and standards to local operational environments. - Develop regional capabilities through training, certification, and knowledge transfer. REQUIREMENTS - Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another relevant technical discipline. - 8+ years of professional experience in infrastructure operations. - Proven experience managing data center infrastructure, critical facilities, colocation providers, or vendor governance. - Strong knowledge of electrical and HVAC infrastructure. - Experience with ELV, BMS, monitoring, automation controls, or infrastructure management systems. - Strong project/program management experience. - Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional projects across multiple stakeholders and geographies. - Experience in vendor governance, operational auditing, SLA management, and performance improvement. - Experience with infrastructure risk management, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective action management. - Previous management experience leading teams of approximately 5–15 people. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to work independently, challenge existing processes, and drive solutions in complex environments. - Willingness to travel internationally approximately 30–40% of the time. - Mandarin proficiency is a plus. The ideal candidate is a senior infrastructure professional who combines technical depth, operational leadership, project management, and vendor governance expertise. You should be comfortable working with complex critical infrastructure environments, influencing senior stakeholders, managing international teams and vendors, and taking ownership of difficult problems from identification through resolution.
