What you'll do

Are you the kind of person who notices when something could be better, and has the drive to make it happen? At DISA, quality is not just a checkpoint at the end of the process. It is built into the way we design, source, produce and deliver world-class foundry machines. We are looking for a Quality Engineer who wants to be close to the product, close to production and close to the decisions that improve how we work. This role is for someone who enjoys solving real quality challenges in a manufacturing environment. Someone who is structured, curious and persistent enough to follow an issue from first observation to sustainable improvement. What You’ll Do

  • Take ownership of quality improvements across supplier quality, production quality and internal quality processes.
  • Handle non-conformities, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and ensure follow-up until issues are properly closed.
  • Work closely with production, engineering, procurement and suppliers to identify risks, solve quality challenges and prevent repeat issues.
  • Support and develop supplier quality performance through audits, structured follow-up, documentation and improvement plans.
  • Use data, facts and structured problem-solving tools to analyze trends, set priorities and recommend practical quality improvements.
  • Contribute to audits, customer requirements and management systems, with ISO 14001 as an area where you have basic knowledge or interest.

Why You’ll Love Working with Us

  • A role where quality is at the center — not a side responsibility.
  • The chance to work hands-on with complex, high-precision equipment and see the impact of your improvements in real production.
  • A workplace where your structure, curiosity and follow-through help prevent issues before they reach the customer.
  • Close collaboration with production, engineering, procurement and suppliers, so you can turn observations into practical improvements.
  • The opportunity to help strengthen quality culture in a global industrial company with strong products, proud craftsmanship and long product lifetimes.

You will not be sitting far away from the product or the people making it. You will be part of the daily dialogue around quality, helping colleagues and suppliers understand what went wrong, why it happened and how we make sure it does not happen again. Who You Are

  • You have a background in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, Production Technology or a similar field.
  • You have experience with quality work in a manufacturing, production or industrial environment.
  • You are motivated by root cause analysis, corrective actions and the satisfaction of closing issues properly.
  • You understand supplier quality or are eager to work closely with suppliers on deviations, audits, documentation and improvement plans.
  • You like being close to the shop floor and working with people across functions to solve practical quality challenges.
  • You are analytical and structured, but also pragmatic enough to find solutions that work in real life.
  • You follow through — because you know that quality improvements only matter when they are actually implemented and sustained.
  • You have knowledge of ISO 14001 or an interest in building a basic understanding of environmental management systems.

If you are driven by quality, manufacturing and continuous improvement, and if you enjoy turning problems into clear actions and better ways of working, we would like to hear from you. You do not need to tick every box; what matters most is your quality mindset, your curiosity and your ability to follow through. Want to know more? Ready to apply?
