Quality Assurance Manager - Public Sector

Quality Assurance Manager – EU Project Location: EU-based / according to project delivery requirements Client: European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) Contract: Long-term EU project About the role SEIDOR is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join an international project supporting ECDC. The role focuses on defining, applying and monitoring quality standards across IT projects and services, ensuring compliance with established processes, methodologies and quality requirements. Main responsibilities - Define and maintain quality plans, standards, procedures and acceptance criteria.

• Perform quality reviews of IT project deliverables and software development lifecycle activities.
• Monitor compliance with established QA processes and identify non-conformities.
• Perform root cause analysis and define corrective and preventive actions.
• Support risk identification, quality reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare quality metrics, reports and recommendations for stakeholders.
• Support teams through quality guidelines, templates, training and best practices.
• Collaborate with project managers, technical teams and business stakeholders.

Mandatory requirements - University degree and at least 4 years of relevant IT professional experience, or equivalent professional experience where applicable.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant Quality Assurance / Quality Management experience in IT environments.
• Strong knowledge of IT quality standards, processes, risk management and continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• English level B2 or higher.
• Experience working in international and multicultural environments.

Mandatory certification Candidates must hold at least one of the following, or a clearly equivalent recognised certification: - ISO 9001 Internal Auditor

• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
• Certified Quality Auditor – CQA
• Certified Manager of Quality / Organisational Excellence – CMQ/OE
• ️ ISTQB alone does not fulfil the mandatory certification requirement.

Nice to have - Experience in EU institutions, bodies or agencies.

• Experience with regulated or public-sector environments.
• Knowledge of Agile / DevOps delivery models.
• Experience in software QA governance and process improvement.
