Quality Assurance Engineer

The role With weekly releases and a platform that runs everything from web shops to in-store hardware, quality is key. As we grow, we’re now strengthening our development teams with a QA Engineer. As a QA Engineer you will take overall responsibility for quality and testing across our development teams. You'll test hands-on, set up routines and a test strategy that work as we scale, and gradually build test automation. Here you'll get:

• Overall responsibility for QA and testing across our development teams
• The opportunity to build our test strategy, routines and tooling from the ground up
• A mix of exploratory, functional and regression testing, and building test automation over time
• Testing in a varied environment: web, APIs, integrations, and POS software on different hardware and operating systems
• Close collaboration with developers, product and design, with short paths from idea to production
• Real influence on how we work with quality as a development organisation

We're looking for someone who has:

• 4+ years of experience in software testing or QA, preferably from SaaS or other complex systems in production
• Experience with test planning, exploratory testing and regression testing
• Experience with test automation, or a strong interest in building it (e.g. Playwright, Cypress or similar)
• Experience testing APIs and integrations
• A structured approach and an eye for detail – while understanding what matters most to the business
• Strong communication skills in Norwegian and English, and the ability to give clear, constructive feedback to developers

Bonus points if you've worked with POS, retail, e-commerce or hardware testing before – but most importantly, you're curious, thorough and motivated to make quality everyone's business. What we offer
