Python Developer (44320)

Do you know how payment data really travels between banking systems? An international IT services company is looking for a Python Developer focused on backend integrations for a large Nordic bank in Stockholm. You will build and maintain a conversion tool that translates payment data between payment initiation systems and a payment processing engine, working with Apache Kafka, Linux and secure file transfers – as part of a programme modernising payments in Swedish kronor in line with ISO 20022. 🚀 Project

• modernisation of payment processing in Swedish kronor (SEK) and ISO 20022 compliance
• development and maintenance of a Python conversion tool between payment initiation systems and a payment engine
• file-based and event-driven integrations, message exchange via Apache Kafka
• secure file transfers using SFTP, WinSCP and PGP encryption
• Linux environments and shell scripts, troubleshooting of integration issues
• collaboration with external software suppliers in an agile team (Jira, Confluence, Scrum, Kanban)
• contract CP from 11/2026 for one year, Stockholm, hybrid with 40 % home office
