Project Manager

Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a Project Manager For one of our clients, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in managing complex, multidisciplinary engineering or industrial projects. The position is based in the Oslo area, with expected start-up in December 2026/January 2027 and an initial assignment of approximately 12 months. Job responsibilities:

• End-to-end responsibility for project delivery, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk and contractual commitments
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across several project lifecycle phases
• Project budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, cost control and performance reporting
• Risk management, change control and implementation of mitigation and recovery plans
• Strong commercial understanding, including contracts, variations, claims and change orders
• Coordination of interfaces between engineering, procurement, suppliers, construction and commissioning activities
• Customer and stakeholder management, including project reviews and reporting

Your experience and qualifications:

• Experience from energy, oil & gas, LNG, hydrogen, carbon capture, process industry, infrastructure or another regulated industrial sector
• Experience working with Norwegian customers, suppliers, regulatory requirements or working practices
• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
• A recognised project management certification, such as PMP, PRINCE2 or IPMA, is an advantage.
• Norwegian or Swedish language skills will be prioritised. Fluent English is required.
• Due to the expected start-up, candidates who already have the right to work in Norway will be prioritised.
