Project Manager

Project Manager - Slag Handling Location: Boden, Sweden (100% on-site, no rotation) Assignment Type: Annually Renewable Contract - Residential Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8 hour days Key Responsibilities

• Define package scope, deliverables and milestones, and track progress against the project schedule.
• Coordinate engineering deliverables and supplier information to ensure procurement and construction teams have timely resources.
• Work with construction teams and contractors to plan the sequence of site activities, check readiness, and resolve dependencies with adjacent work packages.
• Monitor schedule and cost, track changes, and flag risks early with clear actions and owners.
• Coordinate with site teams to ensure work meets project safety and quality requirements.
• Report package progress, upcoming milestones, and decisions needed from project leadership.

Requirements

• Experience managing work packages on heavy industrial or major engineering and construction projects.
• Practical understanding of how engineering, procurement, and construction activities depend on one another.
• Strong project management skills across scope, schedule, cost, risk, and change control.
• Sound judgement on site, with the ability to coordinate different teams, resolve issues, and follow through on decisions.
• Experience in steelmaking, slag handling, bulk materials handling, or comparable heavy process plant projects is an advantage.
