Job role: Project Manager Location: Stavanger, Norway Role Responsibilities: Job Summary The Office Move & IT Infrastructure Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering end-to-end office relocation and infrastructure-move projects, including workplace technology, network infrastructure, data centre/server-room equipment, and general office equipment. The role manages the complete relocation lifecycle, from initial assessment and move planning through readiness, physical relocation, commissioning, validation, and post-move stabilisation. It coordinates multiple stakeholders including IT infrastructure teams, network and data centre specialists, facilities, workplace services, security, vendors, logistics providers, application teams, business representatives, and end users to ensure moves are delivered safely with minimal disruption to business operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end office relocation projects, covering planning, execution, cutover, validation and post-move support.
  • Develop detailed move plans, schedules, dependencies, milestones, risks and cutover

plans.

  • Manage relocation of data centre/server-room equipment, including servers, racks,

network devices, storage, UPS-related dependencies, cabling and associated infrastructure.

  • Coordinate workplace technology moves, including desktops, monitors, docking stations,

printers, meeting-room technology, peripherals and other IT equipment.

  • Coordinate with Facilities for relocation of desks, furniture and general office equipment

where these activities form part of the overall move programme.

  • Ensure asset inventories, equipment mapping, tagging and destination information

are accurately maintained during the move.

  • Coordinate technical teams for shutdown, disconnection, packing, transportation,

installation, reconnection and operational validation of technology equipment.

  • Develop and manage cutover and rollback plans for business-critical systems and

infrastructure.

  • Coordinate logistics providers and specialist vendors to ensure appropriate handling of

sensitive and high-value IT equipment.

  • Track project risks, issues, dependencies, actions, budgets and change requests,

escalating where necessary.

  • Establish site-readiness criteria covering power, network connectivity, cabling, racks,

access, workspace readiness and supporting infrastructure.

  • Manage stakeholder communication and provide regular project status, risk, readiness

and executive reporting.

  • Coordinate with business teams to minimise operational disruption and establish

appropriate business continuity arrangements during relocation.

  • Manage move-day activities through a structured command-and-control approach,

ensuring clear ownership and rapid escalation paths.

  • Coordinate post-move validation and hypercare, ensuring infrastructure, workplace

technology and user environments are operational.

  • Drive formal project closure, including outstanding issue resolution, documentation,

asset reconciliation and lessons learned. Job Summary The Windows 10 to Windows 11 Migration Project Manager is responsible for planning and delivering the end-to-end enterprise migration from Windows 10 to Windows 11 across the organisation. The role coordinates technical teams, workplace support, application owners, security, business stakeholders and vendors to ensure devices and applications are assessed, remediated and migrated with minimal disruption to users and business operations. The Project Manager owns migration planning, governance, risks and dependencies, pilot and phased deployment coordination, user communications, migration tracking and post-migration stabilisation. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end Windows 10 to Windows 11 migration programme, from discovery

and readiness through deployment and closure.

  • Establish migration scope, plans, milestones, deployment waves, dependencies and

governance.

  • Coordinate device readiness and hardware compatibility assessments, identifying

devices requiring upgrade, remediation or replacement.

  • Drive application readiness and compatibility activities with application owners and

technical teams.

  • Coordinate pilot deployments to validate the migration approach before broader rollout.
  • Develop a structured migration wave strategy based on locations, business units,

user personas and business criticality.

  • Coordinate endpoint management, engineering, security, application, network,

Service Desk and onsite support teams.

  • Track migration progress, exceptions, failed migrations and remediation activities.
  • Maintain project RAID logs, including risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies.
  • Coordinate user communications covering migration schedules, preparation requirements

and expected user impact.

  • Ensure appropriate Service Desk and onsite support readiness for migration waves and

post-migration incidents.

  • Establish escalation and command-centre arrangements for major deployment waves

where required.

  • Monitor migration KPIs and provide regular executive-level reporting on progress, risks,

blockers and overall readiness.

  • Coordinate resolution of technical and business blockers affecting migration.
  • Manage vendor and third-party dependencies where applicable.
  • Drive post-migration hypercare, issue resolution and stabilisation.
  • Ensure migration evidence, lessons learned and project closure activities are completed.
