Project Manager

Beskrivelse Do you want to play a key role in delivering strategic investments across Elkem and contribute to the development of world-class project execution capabilities? The Projects Department is looking for a Project Manager to strengthen our team. This is a unique opportunity to work on some of Elkem's most important CAPEX projects and contribute to the successful planning and execution of investments across the Group. The department's purpose is to ensure that projects are selected, planned and executed in a consistent, efficient and value-driven manner, delivering expected business outcomes while managing risk, cost and schedule. As a Project Manager, you will lead industrial investment projects through planning and execution phases. Depending on qualifications and project needs, you may also take on roles such as Engineering Manager, Sub-project Manager, or participate in Project Steering Committees. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Delivering projects in accordance with approved investment applications and agreed project objectives
• Ensuring compliance with Elkem's HSE requirements
• Managing project risk, cost, schedule and overall project performance
• Ensuring that project deliverables meet expected quality standards
• Contributing to project audits, quality assurance reviews, technical problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives
• Strengthening Elkem's project management methods, tools and best practices

We are seeking candidates who have:

• Experience as a Project Manager, Engineering Manager or Project Engineer from industrial or related industries
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline
• Good communication skills in English and at least one Scandinavian language
• Strong digital skills and experience with modern collaboration tools

• Project portfolio management of Elkem's CAPEX investments
• Project governance and quality assurance of investment applications
• Project risk management
• Development and maintenance of project management standards and best practices
• Providing project management support and resources to plants and divisions across the Group
