Project Leader - Portugal

Are you the leader who will bring Solhemmet's senior living communities to Portugal? We are looking for someone to lead Solhemmet's first projects in Portugal. As Project Leader, you will take a business model built in Sweden and make it work in the Portuguese market, in close collaboration with our Swedish team and a Portuguese business developer. The role is based at our head office in Sweden, so if you are based in Portugal, relocation will be a requirement. You will work alongside the Swedish team, learn how we build here, and apply it to our first projects in Portugal. Each project requires creative solutions and the ability to manage challenges, so that we always deliver with the highest quality, on time and within budget. Your responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate construction projects in Portugal from early stages to final inspection and handover
• Together with our business developer, translate Solhemmet's Swedish business model into the Portuguese market
• Responsible for project finances, timeline, and quality
• Build and maintain relationships with municipalities, property owners, and contractors in Portugal
• Drive procurement processes and negotiate contracts with suppliers
• Ensure projects are carried out in accordance with applicable Portuguese laws and regulations
• Be the link between the Swedish team and Portuguese stakeholders
• Report project status and results to management

Your profile We are looking for someone with a strong drive and desire to create change. You are a natural leader who can inspire and motivate teams, and you are analytical and structured in your approach. Qualifications Must-haves

• Fluent Portuguese, oral and written.
• Good English, oral and written.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in the construction and building industry, or the equivalent.
• Willingness to relocate to Sweden, with an existing right to work in Sweden. We are unable to provide work permit support.
• Willingness to learn the Solhemmet philosophy around our view regarding building retirement villages.
• Strong communication skills.

Good-to-haves

• Previous experience in leadership roles
• Experience in finance, contract management, and budget work
• Experience of, or insight into the Swedish building and construction industry and market
