Project Lead - EV Charging Infrastructure - Sweden Location: Sweden – Hybrid / Office / Customer Sites Sector: EV Charging | E-Mobility | Electrical Infrastructure Employment: Full-time Company Overview Our client is a growing specialist within the EV charging and e-mobility sector, delivering end-to-end charging infrastructure solutions across Sweden. The business supports customers throughout the project lifecycle, from initial planning and technical design through installation, commissioning, service and ongoing support. With dedicated teams across engineering, project delivery, operations, service, IT, sales and business development, the company combines strong technical capability with a practical, customer-focused approach to EV infrastructure deployment. The Role We are looking for an experienced Project Lead / Senior Project Manager to take ownership of EV charging infrastructure projects from initial handover through planning, installation, commissioning and customer acceptance. You will coordinate customers, electrical contractors, suppliers, internal engineering teams and service technicians, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead EV charging projects from order handover through to completion.
  • Manage project programmes, budgets, resources and delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate site surveys, electrical requirements, grid connections and civils.
  • Manage electrical contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and technical teams.
  • Oversee installation and commissioning of AC/DC EV charging infrastructure.
  • Manage project risks, variations, dependencies and technical issues.
  • Monitor costs, margins and overall commercial performance.
  • Lead customer meetings and provide regular project updates.
  • Coordinate testing, commissioning and final project handover.
  • Ensure projects meet relevant electrical, H&S and quality requirements.
  • Work closely with service teams to resolve commissioning and post-installation issues.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and continually improve delivery processes.

Experience Required We are looking for candidates with proven project delivery experience within EV charging, electrical infrastructure, renewables, energy, utilities or similar technical environments. Strong experience managing customers, subcontractors, budgets, project schedules and technical stakeholders is important. Direct experience delivering commercial, fleet, public or DC EV charging infrastructure would be particularly advantageous. Desirable Experience across AC/DC charging, LV electrical infrastructure, grid connections, civils, solar/BESS, fleet charging or public charging would be beneficial. Electrical/engineering qualifications or project management certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP or IPMA would also be advantageous. Candidate Profile You will be a structured and commercially aware project leader who is comfortable taking full ownership of technically complex projects. You'll be confident working between customers, contractors, engineers, suppliers and internal teams, resolving problems and maintaining control of programme, cost, quality and delivery.
