Project Associate Director

Your impact begins here As Project Associate Director, you will lead the M3 Project Management Office and own the project portfolio that keeps our API manufacturing investments and complex non-investments moving. You will make sure major projects, including large investments stay on scope, cost and timeline, and are prioritised to match our strategy. Your work helps deliver the capacity and quality that people living with serious chronic diseases rely on. What You’ll Bring

• An academic degree (MA or MSc) within engineering, science or economics.
• Solid experience within pharmaceutical production.
• A strong track record in project management and project portfolio management.
• Experience with environmental Health and Safety and Quality Management Systems.
• Proven people leadership: you can manage through others, coach and develop, and set challenging goals that improve the business.
• Clear communication and strong collaboration skills, with the ability to follow up and reach shared goals.

Useful, But Not Essential

• Additional education or profound experience within management and production.
• Experience with change management and cLEAN leadership tools.

What You’ll Do You will act as project owner across all M3 projects and lead your own team to deliver on quality, delivery, cost, environment, health and safety.

• Own the M3 project portfolio and its governance, keeping major and strategic projects prioritised, matured and mobilised in time.
• Hold overall budget responsibility for the M3 investment portfolio, and facilitate the budget and forecast processes with full transparency, challenging and advising the business.
• Secure the progress of major projects so they stay compliant with regulatory requirements and the Novo Nordisk quality management system, driving them through PEM and Clarity.
• Lead, develop and set goals for your team, running performance and development conversations and securing the right competences and training.
• Manage external partners and consultants, including contracts, negotiations and resource forecasting with engineering companies.
• Ensure EHS compliance and drive continuous improvement to minimise environmental impact.

Who You’ll Work With You will report to the Vice President, M3, and will lead your own team of project managers and senior project managers and be point of entry for our external consultants. In Global Manufacturing & Supply, colleagues work across the value chain to scale processes and products for the people who need them. You will work closely with department managers across M3 and the wider API area, including QA, MSAT and the API Investment Project Governance forums, as well as Procurement (IPO and IES) and Legal. Externally, you will partner with engineering and consultant companies, vendors, audit companies and authorities. You will represent the VP on matters related to projects, both internally and towards external authorities. Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 847,000 to 1,245,100 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position. The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
