Production Test Design Engineer

Would you like to develop and maintain advanced electronic and acoustic production test systems as part of a skilled team? We are looking for a Production Test Design Engineer with hardware experience to join our team in Copenhagen. INVISIO is an innovative, high-tech company with a growing portfolio in the defence and security industry. The role As a Production Test Design Engineer, you will help ensure reliable, high-quality end-of-line testing at our production partners. You will also shape the roadmap for our next-generation test systems as our product range and production network expand. Because we work with production partners worldwide, the role involves periodic international travel. Key responsibilities: As part of the Production Test Team, you will:

• Contribute throughout the product lifecycle, from defining test specifications in early project stages to implementation and verification at release, followed by ongoing improvements and maintenance.
• Specify and develop the test equipment and software required for PCBA and end-of-line product testing.
• Maintain and support production test setups remotely and on-site at our production partners.
• Help integrate our test systems with a data management platform for change control and test data monitoring.
• Maintain and further develop our Python-based test software.

With a strong hardware background, you will:

• Take ownership of hardware designs within the Production Test Team, serving as the go-to specialist for schematics and layouts for test equipment, from simple adapters to complex audio switching, power control, and programming fixtures.
• Ensure testability is built into R&D hardware designs from the earliest prototype stages.
• Apply insights and designs from early prototype testing to accelerate the development of final test equipment.

About you The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an AP degree in Electronics, and preferably has several years of experience developing production test systems. You have an interest in working with both theoretical and practical tasks, developing a combination of electronics, acoustics, mechanical equipment, and software for state-of-the-art test systems. You likely bring:

• Experience in electronics design to support product testing.
• Experience implementing product test equipment for manufacturing environment, with the ability to balance theory and practice.
• Familiarity with some of the following:
• Python
• TestStand /Labview
• Altium
• Preferably, experience with acoustic testing.
• Ability to positively influence and build relationships with both internal and external team members.
• A valid driver’s licence and access to a car are required for this role.

Additional information The position is based on-site at our HQ in Hvidovre, Copenhagen. We do not offer relocation assistance. This position requires approximately 20–50 travel days per year.
