Find out more at www.rosendahlnextrom.com As our long-serving colleague is retiring, we are now looking for a Production Portfolio Planner to join our in Vantaa. The role and main responsibilities In this role, you are responsible for production pre-planning and the capacity view of the project portfolio at our Vantaa factory. You are involved from the very early stages of projects, often before the deal is closed: together with project management, you assess where an upcoming project fits into production and what it requires. Once a project opens, you create its first production plan, which the production planners then take forward. Roughly half of your time is spent on pre-planning together with project management and engineering, and the other half on scheduling awarded projects. You report to the Work Preparation & Material Planning Manager and work closely with production planning, production, project management, engineering, sourcing and procurement, and logistics. Your responsibilities include:

• Assessing the feasibility of new projects and pre-planning them from a production perspective
• Planning the initiation and scheduling of new projects in relation to the active project portfolio, production workload and capacity
• Evaluating the impact of new projects on existing production plans, delivery schedules and resources
• Maintaining an overview of current and future production workload and keeping the load as even as possible
• Identifying overload situations and proposing solutions for prioritization, scheduling and resource allocation
• Participating in project prioritization and the preparation of launch decisions, as well as medium- and long-term portfolio planning
• Updating production schedules based on changes in demand, material availability and other deviations

Most of the work is done from our Vantaa office, with around 0–25% travel. What we are looking for We are looking for a supply chain professional from the manufacturing industry who keeps the big picture even when many things are happening at once, and who has the courage to state, based on facts, which schedule is realistic and which is not.

• Relevant education. You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering and Management, engineering or another relevant field.
• Planning or supply chain experience. You have at least 3 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, sourcing or supply chain management in a manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of production and projects. You understand production processes and project management, and how engineering, materials, purchasing and production are linked.
• A calm and structured approach. You stay organized and pay attention to detail, and you can prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Confidence to speak up. You bring your view to the table and make fact-based decisions
• Strong collaboration and communication skills. You work well in cross-functional teams and with a broad network of stakeholders.
• Language skills. You communicate well in both Finnish and English, spoken and written.

Experience from project business, such as customer projects for machinery or production lines, or production planning for a broad product portfolio, is considered an advantage. What we offer
