Production foreman

Helsingin Hitsaus is looking for a skilled and responsible Production Foreman to join our shipbuilding project in Finland. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating daily production activities, supervising workers on site, monitoring work progress, and ensuring that tasks are completed according to project requirements, quality standards, and safety regulations. Requirements: Previous supervisory experience in shipbuilding, ship repair, or industrial metalwork is required. Minimum 3 years of experience as a foreman, supervisor, or team leader in the shipbuilding/ship repair industry. Experience in fabrication and installation of steel structures is considered an advantage. Ability to work confidently with computers and common MS Office applications. The candidate must have a valid residence permit allowing employment in Finland. Good organisational, communication, and team management skills. Main responsibilities: Organising and supervising daily work activities of the production team. Distributing tasks and monitoring their completion. Following production schedules and reporting work progress. Ensuring compliance with quality and occupational safety requirements. Coordinating work with project management and other departments. Supporting employees in resolving technical and organisational issues on site. We offer: Employment on an ongoing shipbuilding project in Finland.
