Production Engineer – Tooling & Automation

Start: As soon as possible Duration: Full time, 6 months with good possibility of extension Location: Kronoberg We are looking for a Production Engineer for a consulting assignment within the manufacturing industry in Kronoberg. In this role, you will take responsibility for the performance, maintenance, and development of hydraulic press tools, while also driving improvements within automation and robotics. You will work closely with production, operators, and maintenance teams to identify issues, improve processes, and implement reliable and cost-effective solutions. The role is both technical and hands-on, with a strong focus on continuous improvement, problem-solving, and driving activities from idea to implementation. You will also contribute to projects within industrialisation and process development Job Requirements

• Technical education at university, engineering, vocational, or equivalent level.
• Several years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Practical experience with tooling, such as tool design, development, maintenance, or optimisation.
• Good knowledge and experience of press tools, preferably hydraulic press tools.
• Experience with automation and/or robotics is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to independently drive technical activities and collaborate across different functions.
• Very good knowledge n English.
