Your role as part of the team As our new Production Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the stability, quality, and optimization of our organic coating processes for both composite- and metal parts. Your daily tasks will vary, and you will be close to the production of our parts every day. Success in this role will require a solid technical foundation as well as the ability to collaborate across the organization. Your work will carry significant responsibility and have a substantial impact on civil security and military safety. Your role involves the day-to-day ownership of our organic coating processes, ensuring that what we do on the floor is what has been specified, and improving the processes in terms of yield, flow, and cost. You will work with epoxy- and polyurethane-based paints, the consumable chemicals used in the area such as solvents for surface cleaning, and the surface treatment steps preceding the coating. Daily activities include spending time on the production floor, where you will oversee and discuss production processes with our skilled production personnel, and conducting desk work e.g., updating process instructions, performing root cause analysis, analyzing process data, and driving improvement projects. You will become part of the Production Engineering team within Manufacturing Engineering, working alongside engineers responsible for the various manufacturing processes on our production floor. Each engineer owns a dedicated area of responsibility, while the team works closely together with a shared mindset that every challenge is a team responsibility. We collaborate with stakeholders across the organization and support a broad range of activities, creating a dynamic and engaging work environment. How you will make a meaningful contribution In this role, you will contribute to a range of tasks across your area of responsibility. Your key responsibilities include: -

• Own and maintain process instructions for the coating area
• Implement customer requirements in production
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and lead root cause analysis together with Quality and Production
• Monitor and improve process performance, First Pass Yield and flow
• Ensure material and process compliance
• Support internal and external process audits

• Technical education within science or engineering, with emphasis on chemistry (e.g., MSc. Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Materials Engineering/Science)
• Experience within surface chemistry, coatings, paints or related manufacturing processes
• Experience with structured problem solving and root cause analysis
• Experience working with technical requirements and compliance
