Production Engineer

About the Role We are looking for a Production Engineer with team leader responsibility for a consulting assignment. The consultant will combine operational production development with leading the industrialization team and coordinate priorities and deliveries. The assignment includes industrialization of new products, improvements in existing production and close contact with our manufacturing partners. Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize and follow up on the work of the industrialization team.
• Drive industrialization of new products, from prototype to series production.
• Follow up on quality, production outcomes and costs and drive improvements.
• Coordinate production and testing equipment and manage production deviations and changes.
• Lead production and quality meetings with manufacturing partners and follow up on actions.

Qualifications

• A degree in engineering in a relevant field of technology.

Required Skills

• At least five years of experience as a production engineer, including industrialization and improvement work in production.
• Experience of supplier contact, requirements and follow-up in production.
• Experience in leading meetings and following up on schedules, budgets and costs.
• Technical understanding of products where mechanics, electronics and software interact.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English.

Preferred Skills

• Team or project management as well as knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, production testing and PPAP are meritorious.
