What you'll do

Product Owner, IT Infrastructure (Software License Management) We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to lead a product within IT Infrastructure at a large international energy company. The product covers license management for approximately 250 standard applications, primarily client software and SaaS solutions, and is run by a team of 10 colleagues based in Poland and Denmark. You will be accountable for the product, ensuring strategic alignment with the wider product suite and effective prioritisation against other products. You bridge product goals and product execution, with a focus on outcomes, user value and matching deliverable features to valuable objectives. Responsibilities

  • Own and continuously refine the product backlog together with an empowered, outcome-focused product team and stakeholders
  • Define and communicate the product roadmap and align it with the product suite and platform strategy
  • Understand user needs and business outcomes, and make sure the product solves real problems
  • Balance the needs of development and operations throughout the product lifecycle
  • Structure and manage stakeholder relationships, and communicate releases clearly and on time

Requirements

  • Documented experience as Product Owner, ideally for an IT infrastructure, software asset or license management product
  • Roadmapping: ability to link business outcomes to outputs and to maximise business impact, user value and return on investment
  • Delivery: experience steering a product team, owning a prioritised backlog, slicing work into executable tasks and maintaining flow
  • User and product insight: experience with discovery practices and user sessions that lead to measurable outcomes
  • Technology: ability to navigate and contribute to technical and architectural roadmaps, with product thinking built into technology choices
  • Communication: ability to explain the "why" and the "how" of the product, both to the team and to stakeholders
  • Stakeholder management and prioritisation at senior level
  • Experience working with distributed teams across countries
  • Fluent English
