Product Owner – AI-First Property Management

Are you ready to help shape the future of our next-gen property management product, HabiCen? We’re looking for a Product Owner who combines deep domain understanding or strong technical insight with an AI-first way of working, thrives on close collaboration and co-creation with developers, architects, QA, and business specialists, and wants to help take our product to new markets. The workplace may be either at our office in Vejle or in Aalborg. About the role Property Management is a complex business domain focused on managing properties, tenants, contracts, finances, maintenance, and regulatory obligations. As a Product Owner, you will translate these real-world business processes into modern, scalable software solutions that create value for property owners, housing organizations, and tenants You will own product direction, working in close, daily collaboration with your development team rather than handing over specifications from a distance. Co-creation is central to how we work: you shape problems and solutions together with developers and architects and business specialists, and you use AI actively as a partner in discovery, analysis, and validation – while keeping full accountability for product judgement, domain correctness, and business outcomes. Most of your effort will focus on

• Understanding property management needs, and turning into clear, testable product outcomes
• Prioritising a backlog based on customer value, risk, and strategic fit
• Co-creating solutions with developers, architects, QA.
• Using AI actively in discovery, analysis, specification, and backlog refinement – while reviewing, challenging, and validating its output
• Ensuring data, workflows, and integrations stay consistent, trustworthy, and compliant as we scale more customers on HabiCen
• Building shared understanding with product and business stakeholders
• Collaborating with other Product Owners and Head of Product to align priorities, share practices, and keep our product portfolio consistent across teams

Two profiles – we’re looking for the strongest fit We’re open to either of the two backgrounds below for this role, and we’ll match the successful candidate to the part of the product where they’ll add the most value. Profile A – Proptech and domain-driven Product Owner

• Solid understanding of property management, or a closely related domain such as finance or accounting
• Comfortable turning operational needs from property management into clear product direction
• Strong stakeholder management with business and customer-facing users

Profile B – Technically and architecturally driven Product Owner

• Technical background with an understanding of system architecture, integrations, data migration, or DevOps
• Able to engage with developers on solution design and technical trade-offs
• Comfortable owning technically complex backlogs

What both profiles share

• Experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Product Manager, or equivalent role in software delivery
• Strong ability to prioritise a backlog and make trade-offs between value, risk, effort, and dependencies
• Hands-on experience or strong interest in using AI tools in product or software work
• Comfortable working in a close, co-creative setup with development teams. You will collaborate naturally across our distributed teams in Denmark, Poland, and beyond
• Fluent English; Danish is an advantage
• Open to occasional travel across our international office locations

Nice to have

• Experience with property management or general ERP systems – or, alternatively, with system architecture, APIs, data migration, or multi-tenancy
• Experience shaping AI-assisted workflows, prompts, or agentic practices
• Experience in an international, distributed product organisation
• Familiarity with Agile product development, continuous discovery, and outcome-oriented roadmaps
