Product developer

We are looking for a Product Developer to join our team. In this position, you will act as the link between design and production, working closely with the design and production teams throughout the entire collection development process. In this role, you will ensure that garments are developed as intended, meeting the required standards for quality, price and delivery. You will follow products from tech packs and samples through to approved production, collaborating with fabric suppliers, pattern makers and factories. The position is based at our headquarters in Oslo and reports to Design Director. Some travel may be required. Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to)

• Prepare and maintain tech packs, measurement specifications and bills of materials in collaboration with the design team
• Order and follow up on samples in communication with suppliers and factories
• Participate in fittings and document comments and corrections
• Monitor timelines, materials, trims and wash approvals
• Work towards meeting target prices while balancing quality and cost
• Keep the design team regularly updated on progress and any deviations
• Contribute to quality assurance and supply chain documentation

Profile and Qualifications

• Education in Product Development, Fashion Design, Textiles or equivalent
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within product development, purchasing or production. We also welcome recent graduates who demonstrate clear talent
• Good understanding of garment construction, materials and fit, with an interest in denim
• Knowledge of denim production, washing and finishing is an advantage
• Precise and structured, with a strong appreciation for quality and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously and prioritise under time pressure
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a clear understanding of responsibilities
• Solution-oriented and proactive in communication with suppliers
• Proficiency in Excel and Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Illustrator
• Fluency in Norwegian and English, with a good understanding of industry terminology
