What you'll do

Veo is an AI-powered sports camera and analysis ecosystem built for one job: turning what happens on a pitch into proof. Capture, viewing, data and analytics, sharing- all in one system, all pointed at the same thing. That's bigger than football. Every player, on every pitch, gets access to the kind of proof only the top academies used to keep for themselves. It's the future we're building. Every youth match still has a moment nobody saw. A run that won the game, underneath everyone's radar. A kid written off before anyone actually checked. We exist to close that gap, one match at a time. One camera on any pitch feeds an AI that tracks every player and the ball for the whole game, turning what happened into evidence instead of somebody's opinion. That's the actual job here. Not shipping features. Building the system that gives proof to someone who used to rely on a hunch. If you've ever watched a match and wondered who else saw what you saw, you already know why this matters. We're looking for people who want to build that future with us. About The Role Veo is scaling fast, and our spend on software and equipment has grown faster than the supporting structure has. We're hiring a Procurement & Vendor Manager to bring that under control. Your first and most important mandate is our software (SaaS) license spend: understanding what we pay for, our company needs, cutting what we don't use, and negotiating the remaining contract terms. You'll also own how we buy office hardware. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role. You'll own procurement end-to-end yourself, building the process as much as running it, and working closely with teams across IT, Finance, and the wider business. What You'll Own Software licenses & SaaS spend (primary focus)

  • Audit and map current software license spend across the company, incl. who owns what, what's actually used, and where we're paying for redundant or dormant licenses
  • Clean up and rationalize the portfolio: eliminate shelfware, consolidate overlapping tools, and right-size seat counts
  • Build and maintain a renewals calendar so no contract auto-renews without review
  • Negotiate renewals and new contracts to reduce cost and improve terms
  • Establish lightweight software asset management (SAM) practices and reporting to keep spend visible going forward

Hardware procurement

  • Own purchasing of office hardware, incl. laptops, peripherals, AV, and related equipment
  • Source vendors, negotiate pricing and framework agreements, and standardize what we buy where it makes sense

Contracts & vendor management

  • Lead commercial negotiations on contracts, renewals, and new vendor deals
  • Manage supplier relationships and act as the internal point of contact for procurement
  • Partner closely with IT, Finance, and department heads to align buying with real needs and budget

What success looks like:

  • A complete, accurate picture of current software spend
  • Measurable savings from eliminated/renegotiated licenses
  • A functioning renewals process that prevents surprise auto-renewals
  • Clear, repeatable ways of buying software and hardware that scale with the company

What we're looking for:

  • Solid procurement/vendor management experience, ideally with a strong focus on SaaS and software licensing
  • A track record of finding and delivering cost savings: You know how to read a contract and where the levers are
  • A confident, commercially sharp negotiator
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, less-structured environment and building processes from the ground up
  • Strong stakeholder skills and able to work across IT, Finance, and the business, and to influence without direct authority

Nice to have:

  • Experience with software asset management (SAM) tools or spend-management platforms
  • Familiarity with a scaling tech / SaaS company environment
