What you'll do

Are you passionate about working with people and processes to connect functions, improve collaboration, and remove non-value-adding barriers across the development lifecycle? We are looking for an experienced Process Partner to join the Product Creation Excellence (PCE) team and help maintain, govern, and continuously improve the process landscape for the development lifecycle at 3Shape. Working closely with the team and the wider organization, your goal will be to ensure that our development life cycle remains well anchored, aligned, and continuously improved, following best practices for efficient and predictable product and solution delivery. At 3Shape, you will use your ability to align and influence stakeholders across organizational levels and functions, combined with your solid experience in end-to-end product development lifecycles covering software, hardware, and systems development—ideally within a regulated medical device environment. You will join the PCE team, a group of around 10 colleagues based in Denmark, working to enable Product Creation and adjacent functions across processes, training, tools, strategy, and transformation. Core Responsibilities Lifecycle architecture & governance

  • Ensure coherent, fit-for-purpose processes and process architecture for Product Creation by contributing best-practice insights and advising stakeholders at all levels on how to improve the process landscape.
  • Drive and support continuous improvement of the process architecture and overall Product Development Lifecycle within Product Creation.
  • Contribute to developing and maintaining the stage-gate model, continuous delivery approach, and lifecycle governance structure.

Process integration & alignment

  • Drive alignment across processes, ensuring clear interfaces, effective handovers, and consistent ways of working.
  • Align the development lifecycle across the value chain by establishing and maintaining suitable forums for process reviews and cross-functional retrospectives.

Process performance

  • Define, anchor, and continuously review the process performance framework and related metrics.
  • Drive recurring and structured root cause analysis to identify and address systemic improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure processes enable improved performance by identifying inefficiencies and resolving structural issues.

Process anchoring

  • Provide frameworks, standards, and guardrails for process owners.
  • Inspire and challenge teams through best practices and external benchmarks.
  • Facilitate cross-process improvement initiatives

Ideal profile For this role, we are looking for someone who is passionate about relevant, optimized, and smooth-running processes. We imagine that you can check most of the following boxes:

  • A strong team player who thrives on collaboration—both within the PCE team and across other teams and functions—to solve challenges and realize opportunities.
  • Strong experience with end-to-end product development lifecycles and process landscapes or architecture, ideally across hardware, software, and agile development environments.
  • A proven track record in flow optimization, Lean, or value stream thinking.
  • The ability to influence senior stakeholders and work effectively across functions.
  • Knowledge of medical device development or other regulated environments, including QMS design and efficient SOP architecture.
  • Background in systems engineering, process architecture, or operational excellence

Experience from an internal strategy team, transformation office, or consultancy is an advantage. Join us in shaping a company culture that makes Monday mornings worth it. At 3Shape, you will join an international R&D environment in central Copenhagen, working closely with advanced hardware, software, and engineering teams developing products that help improve dental care globally. You will have the opportunity to shape how processes support engineering practice and see your work make a direct difference for colleagues across the organization. We are a vibrant, visionary, and international workplace. Most of all, we are a diverse group of more than 50 nationalities, all contributing to a thriving company culture. We take part in social clubs, monthly social activities, and a variety of team events. If that is not enough, we also offer:

  • Central Copenhagen location
  • A globally recognized tech company with a strong international presence.
  • An attractive healthcare package to keep you fit and well.
  • Daily breakfast and a delicious, healthy lunch prepared by our private chefs.
  • A joint purpose: to enable dentists to provide superior dental care to every patient, every time.

Apply Now Be part of a team helping to redefine treatment and care in a meaningful industry. We encourage all qualified professionals who are passionate about building high-performance medical solutions to apply. Applications will be reviewed continuously, and we expect to conduct interviews in Oct. We encourage all relevant applicants to apply. We are committed to celebrating human diversity and believe that the best way to achieve outstanding business results is by welcoming diverse people into our community.
