What you'll do

About the role

This role is to support Metso's gold projects within the hydrometallurgy sector. The role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in global industrial projects, whether you are early in your engineering career or already have a few years of experience.

Work tasks

  • Provide process engineering support for gold execution projects, focusing on hydrometallurgy sections.
  • Assist in developing core process documentation, including:
  • Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
  • Mass balances and equipment lists
  • Process descriptions and functional specifications
  • Collaborate closely with project management, the broader engineering team, and a dedicated team member who will mentor and guide you through daily work.

We are looking for

  • Educational Background: Degree in Process Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related field.
  • Key Personal Attributes: Organized, reliable, and proactive worker with strong multitasking skills.
  • Language Skills: Fluent spoken and written English is mandatory. Finnish language skills are considered a benefit.
  • Location: Possibility to work at the office in Espoo.

It is a plus, if you already have some relevant working experience (e.g. process engineering or even experience with gold projects). However, we are open to more junior candidate profiles as well as we will support your onboarding and technical development.
