Principle Cyber Security Advisor

As a Principal Cyber Security Advisor, you'll combine deep technical expertise with a consultative approach, helping customers strengthen their security posture and achieve their business goals. What will your key responsibilities be?

• Serve as the senior escalation point and trusted advisor for our most strategic and complex customer accounts.
• Lead end-to-end advisory engagements, partnering with executive stakeholders to communicate cyber risk, shape security strategy, and drive meaningful security outcomes.
• Provide expert guidance on risk remediation, security programme maturity, prioritisation, and alignment with industry and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate Executive Business Reviews, translating technical findings into clear, actionable insights alongside technical, service delivery, and customer success teams.
• Navigate complex stakeholder environments, resolve cross-functional challenges, and confidently communicate difficult findings and recommendations at executive level.
• Contribute to the growth of the advisory practice through solution design, Statements of Work, commercial input, and identifying opportunities that create customer value.
• Mentor advisors while establishing best practices, frameworks, and standards that elevate the quality and consistency of advisory delivery within the Outpost24 Managed Services team.
• Drive the evolution of customer security programmes and advisory services, helping organisations strengthen their security posture and resilience over time.

What makes you our ideal candidate? Industry Experience and Expertise:

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, ideally within a security advisory, consulting, managed services, or customer-facing technical role.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity domains such as Vulnerability Management, Application Security, Cloud Security, Threat Intelligence, EASM, or related areas.
• Experience advising customers on security strategy, risk management, and security programme maturity.
• Ability to communicate complex security concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Customer & Senior Mindset:

• Proven experience building trusted relationships with customers, including executive-level stakeholders.
• A consultative mindset with the ability to influence decision-making and drive meaningful outcomes.
• Confidence navigating complex customer challenges and translating them into practical solutions.

Qualifications:

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential, as it is our corporate language. Additional European language skills are a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are considered an advantage.
• A degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, but not a requirement.
