Predictive Maintenance Intern

Type: Paid Internship (10–20 hours/week fixed hours) Location: Stockholm (close to KTH campus) Duration: 2 months Start Date: As soon as possible Starting with an internship, with the potential to turn into full-time employment About The Internship Are you an engineering student curious about how machines stay healthy? Join us at IPercept to explore real-world predictive maintenance and diagnostics. You’ll work with actual machine data, sensors, and mechanical systems to help us detect wear and improve machine performance. This internship is ideal for students in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Vehicle Engineering, or similar fields who are eager to apply their knowledge in a hands-on setting. What You’ll Do ■ Analyze machine data to assess mechanical health ■ Use signal processing (e.g. FFT, filtering) to detect faults ■ Work with sensor data ■ Help translate findings into maintenance advice ■ Support development of predictive algorithms What We’re Looking For Must-Haves ■ Studying Mechanical, Mechatronics, or similar engineering field ■ Curious about predictive maintenance and mechanical diagnostics ■ Basic knowledge and interest in components like bearings or ball screws ■ Comfortable with Python and basic signal processing Nice-to-Haves ■ Experience with sensor data or time-series analysis ■ Software Engineering Fundamentals ■ Some understanding of CNC or production machines (we’ll teach you!)
