What you'll do

PLC Programmer – Denmark We are looking for a PLC Programmer to join our client's automation team, working on innovative projects within the life sciences and manufacturing industries. If you’re a collaborative, solution oriented engineer who enjoys both hands-on programming and documentation-related tasks, this opportunity is for you. You will be involved in designing, programming and commissioning automation systems. The role includes analyzing project requirements, organizing tasks, and ensuring smooth execution across multiple phases of delivery. You will troubleshoot technical issues in complex automation environments and ensure high-quality outcomes by reviewing and validating the work of other team members. A key part of the role is staying up to date with new technologies and contributing to process and technical improvements. In addition, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation to support traceability and knowledge sharing, as well as supporting and mentoring less experienced engineers. Requirements:

  • Degree in automation engineering or equivalent background as a qualified electrician with relevant experience
  • Solid hands-on experience delivering automation projects, ideally within regulated industries such as Life Sciences
  • Familiarity with ISA-88 standards; knowledge of GxP environments is considered an advantage
  • Experience with PLC platforms such as Siemens (TIA Portal, SIMATIC S7 Classic) and/or Rockwell (Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View) is a plus
  • Strong ability to plan, coordinate, and manage tasks within complex technical projects
  • Independent working style combined with strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Open mindset and willingness to share knowledge and support the development of colleagues
